Today we celebrate the life of Alfreda Adams. She was born May 18, 1938 in Anniston, Alabama to the union of Revered Alfred and Margaret Huguley. Alfreda was the oldest daughter of ten children. Rev. hugely, Mother Margaret Huguley, Bettie Davis (sister) and Richard Huguley (brother) preceded her in death. Alfreda made her transition on August 9, 2010 in the comfort of her home. Alfreda graduated from the Cobb High School in Anniston, Alabama. Alfreda married Charles Adams, March 2, 1962 and to that union was born 2 daughters, Sandra Ray Garrett and Dynetta S. Washington. Alfreda confessed Christ at the age of 9 and was baptized in 1947. Charles and Alfreda relocated to Chicago, Illinois on September 9, 1969. She continued witnessing for the Lord when she joined Apostolic Church of God in Christ on 37th and Indiana in Chicago, Illinois. She worked at Unity Manufacturer for 36 years until her retirement in 2008. Alfreda leaves to cherish her memories a devoted husband Charles Adams two daughters, Sandra Ray Garrett and Dynetta A. Washington, five brothers, four sisters and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
