Anna Geiger was born on February 12, 1941 in Columbia, South Carolina, to the late Willie Sr. and Mary Geiger.

Anna Geiger came to Chicago at an early age. Anna attended Wendall Philliphs High School and from there she went to nursing school and became a nurse. She was a very hard worker who loved her job.

Anna is proceeded in daeth by one sister, Ruby Channey; five brothers Willie Geiger, Jr, Hayward Geiger, Theodore Geiger, Ted Geiger and Wilbert Geiger and one step-son Charlie Avent.

Anna leaves to cherish her memory: one daughter, LaDonna (Raymond), one son Kenneth (Sandra); seven grandechildren: Edward, Shavon, Katrina, Kenneth, Jr, Ja'dae, Kenya, Kenyatta; four great granddaughters: Shavonna, Zariah, Treliyah and one stepson, Anthony Avent.

All services will be held on Friday, February 25, 2011 at Golden Gate Funeral Home, 2036 W. 79th Street, Chicago, IL 60620. Visitation 10:00 a.m., Funeral Services 11:00 a.m.

Interment immediately following the services at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Chicago, IL 60620.
