Anthony Durand Valentine was born to John and Ruth Valentine on June 14th, 1955. He attended St. Agatha Grammar School, and Tilden High School. He also served in the U.S. Navy. He confessed Christ at an early age. Anthony "Blind" was love and joy to so many people. He baby-sat countless nieces and nephews. They loved to see homecoming and hated to see him go. He was an accomplished artist that could take the simplest thing and make it beautiful. He enlightened everyone with a riddle of laughter. He could hold a conversation with anyone around. He would offer his heart and hands to whoever needed it. Everyone who knew called him "Brother, Uncle or Friend". He will truly be missed but not forgotten. Anthony was preceded in death by; his parents, John and Ruth; sister, Nellie Darlena; his niece, Ebony; and his grandmothers, Ada Droney and Lillian Davis. He leaves to cherish his memory; sisters, Ivorye (Donald) and Linda (Roy); his brother, Stanley (Laureen); his adopted mom, Mickey Jones, special child-hood friend, Warren Walker; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
