Beloved Apostle Sheraine Lathon, Pillar of Liberty Temple Full Gospel Church, Departs for Heavenly Home

Chicago, Illinois – December 20, 2023 – The Liberty Temple Full Gospel Church mourns the passing of their beloved pastor, Apostle Dr. Sheraine Lathon, on December 15, 2023. With a heart overflowing with love and a spirit dedicated to serving others, Apostle Lathon touched countless lives throughout her 46 years of ministry.

For 24 years, Apostle Lathon served as the guiding light and pastor of Liberty Temple, leading her congregation with unwavering faith and unwavering compassion. Her sermons resonated with both wisdom and warmth, offering hope and solace to all who sought her guidance.

Beyond the walls of the church, Apostle Lathon's influence extended far and wide. She was a tireless advocate for social justice, a champion for the downtrodden, and a beacon of hope for those facing adversity. Her infectious smile and unwavering optimism were a testament to her unwavering faith in God, and her dedication to making the world a better place.

Apostle Lathon leaves behind a legacy of love, service, and unwavering commitment to her community. Her loving family, including her sons, Eric and Christopher, bonus sons and daughters,

Eric (Rachel) Harris, Sharon (Kevin), Karon (Tarra), Deleia, Christy, Denise, Victoria, Danaya, Clifford Jr., John (Crystal), Darry (Falon), and Jenny (Brian). As well as her ten (10) adoring grandchildren: Tia, Malik, Jordyn, Irvin, Luke, Asher, Xavier, Jahzariah, Harper, Sophia, and a host of family and friends, will carry her spirit of generosity and kindness in their hearts forever.
