Claudette Ross was born to the union of the late Charley and Clara Lowe on February 10, 1942 in Boyle Mississippi. She was the second of sixteen children. Claudette confessed the Lord Jesus Christ as her savior. She grew up in Chicago, Illinois. She entered into Holy Matrimony with the late William Ross, Sr. on March 26, 1960. To this union four children were born, one son preceded her in death. Claudette leaves to cherish her memory: two daughters, Clordette (Walter), Wanda (Mark) and one son, William (Coretta); five brothers, Reverend Charley C. Lowe, Jr. (Gloria), William (Melretter), Clyde (Darlene), Doby, Myron (Yvonne); five sisters, Vera (Kareem), Clara Ann, Regina, Brunette (Darrick), Verda: one uncle, Reverend George Cooper: one aunt Addie Lee. Two life long friends, Jackie and Bobbie: Thirteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
