Earntee "Shoe" Glass was born in, Indiana Bay, Arkansas on June 10, 1918 to Johnnie and Willie Glass, who preceded him in death. He was predated in death by; three sisters, Emma Walker, Roy Lee Davis and Equilla Glass; one brother, Eugene Glass; and one son, Ivory. Earntee first married Ella B. Bradford, who also preceded him in death. His second wife was Bernice Glass, who also preceded him. Earntee accepted Christ at an early age. He was educated in Dewitt, Arkansas. He joined the Army in 1942, where he was qualified (rifle) marksman and was employed as the military policeman 677. Earntee moved to Chicago, Illinois where he worked at the Export Company for many years. Earntee went to the School of Shoe Rebuilding in Chicago, where he met all graduation requirements and received his diploma in Shoe rebuilding, In November 1952. Earntee opened up his own shoe repair shop at 747 S. California in 1953 and was given the nickname "Shoe". He lived there and ran the shoe business for 41 years, as CEO of Earns Shoe Repair and Gift Shop. Earntee joined Greater Little Rock Church and became a deacon and faithful member, he was finally at peace. He departed his life on January 17, 2013 at 7 p.m. Earntee Glass will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 25, 2013 at Greater Little Rock, The Lord's Church, 647 North Kedzie, Chicago, Il 60612.

Interment will take place immediately following all services at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Joliet, IL
