Demetrius Sherron Madden, affectionately known as "Boobadoo," was born on May 10, 1979 in Chicago, Illinois to the union of Lawrence and Vernita Madden. Demetrius was the forth of eight children, one of which proceeded him in death. He attended Martin Luther King High School and completed a janitorial program with the Illinois Community College Board. Demetrius attended Holy Raiders Revival Church as a child, and as a youth he confessed Christ and became a member of the Ambassadors for Christ Church where the Apostle Joseph L. Stanford is founder and pastor. Demetrius also served as a junior usher fir the hit play "Talkin' Bout Church Folk." Demetrius had a passion for life and for dancing. Because of his skill as a dancer her had the opportunity to perform at the Bud Biliken Parade for three years. Demetrius was known for his smile, his enormous sense of humor, and his love for and concern for his family. His two children were the most important people in his life besides his mother and father, whom he constantly showed concern. Demetrius departed this life on Sunday, November 8, 2009 and leaves to cherish his memory, two children, Demetrius Jr. and Dasha; his loving parents, Lawrence Madden Sr. (Barbara) and Vernita; eight siblings Talitha, Lawrence Jr., Kristle, Fernanzo, Fernika, Clarien, Curtis, and Eboni; one grandparent, Robbie Mae Russell; thirteen aunts and uncles, nine nieces and nephews, and a special friend; Rosalie, and a host of other relatives and friends.
