Donald R. Odom passed away January 09, 2013 at South Suburban Rehabilitation Center.

Donald Odom was born September 27, 1953 in Chicago, Illinois to his late parents William H. Odom and Thelma Odom. He was the youngest of four siblings, His sister Yvonne preceded him in death. At an early age, Donald accepted Christ as his Savior. He attended Simeon Vocational High School and graduated in 1972. Donald then went on to complete one year at Kennedy King College. He was united in holy matrimony to the late Roslyn Brown, who also preceded him in death. Donald started his work career at an early age, which consisted of various jobs up until his stoke that left him unable to work. On January 9, 2013 at 5:30am, Donald made his transition to be with the Lord. He leaves behind; one sister; Beverly; and a brother-in-law, Henry Lunford; one twin brother, Ronald; and sister-in-law, Diane; three nieces, Michelle, Ronnesha, and Nikita; alone with two nephews, Darrein and LaShaune; and a total of eleven grandnieces and nephews; along with a host of cousins and friends. Donald will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
