Effie L. Black, 78, departed this life on October 3, 2007 in Michael Reese Hospital, Chicago.
Visitation will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, October 11, 2007 at Golden Gate Funeral Home, 2036 W. 79th Street, Chicago, immediately followed by a homegoing celebration, commencing at 10:00 a.m. in the Golden Gate Chapel.
Committal and interment will be in Restvale Cemetery, 11700 S. Laramie Ave. Alsip, IL.
