Elizabeth D. Harvey was born March 6, 1931 in Memphis, Tennessee to the union of the (late) Sylvester Butler and Frances Butler. Elizabeth married Elvin L. Harvey in 1951, out of the union Gloria Jean Harvey, Elizabeth confessed Christ at a young age Early Grove Baptist Church. She attended Booker T. Washington High School in Memphis, Tennessee. She worked for the Chicago Public Library; she retired in the late 70's. She leaves to celebrate her life: daughter Gloria Jean, grandson Alex, three sisters, three brothers, a host of nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
