Frances "Mama D" Brooks
Frances L. Brooks was born on May 9, 1954 in Chicago, Illinois to Estelle Brooks and
Curtis Bibbs. Her parents and her son, Lamarr Brooks, preceded her in death.
Frances graduated from Hirsh High School and received her Associates Degree from
the Illinois Technology College.
Frances worked at Standard Parking for over ten years at Midway Airport. She also
was a tax advisor for H&R Block for many years. Even in retirement, she was the go to
person for all her loved ones tax needs.
Frances leaves to cherish five children; Tamu Brooks, Estelle "E.V." Brooks, Charnette
Brooks, Wesley Billups and Jamilla Brooks, a goddaughter; Diamond Webb, 4 brothers;
Marshon Brooks, Marshall Brooks, Anthony Wooldridge, and Tyrone Brooks, five
grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. She also leaves a host of family and
friends to relish in the memories shared with her during her time.
