Granville Exson was born September 7, 1934 in Portageville, Missouri. The youngest son of Willie and Rosie Exson. Brothers, Clyde and Willie Jr. Exson, all preceded him in death. Granville was the father of daughters Denise Reed who resides in Illinois, Loretta Moore who resides in Mississippi and Gwendolyn C. Hearns, who resides in Memphis, TN and one beloved son in-law, Jessie B. Hearns. Granville was a Mississippi graduate and a honorable United States military man. He worked for Arrow Lumber for many years. He was a man of dignity. Granville leaves to cherish his memory: a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. "Dad" Granville will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
