Obituary

Gwenell D. Wilson Beatty passed away December 31, 2012 at Mercy Hospital.

Evangelist Gwenell Denise Wilson-Beatty was born December 2, 1962. Gwenell (Gwen for short) was the oldest child of Artis Wilson, Sr. and Lucille Wilson. Gwen had five siblings; Dennis, Darrol, Karen, Artis, Jr., and Latonya. Gwen attended Hendricks Elementary School, Tilden High School, and Taylor Business Institute. She constantly replenished her thirst for learning by updating her current need for education and received several certifications in connection with diverse fields of knowledge. Gwen's greatest scholarly accomplishment was completing Logos Ministerial Training Institute and becoming an ordained minister, licensed to preach the Gospel. Gwen was united in holy matrimony to Oscar Renard Beatty on August 31, 1985. Their union was blessed with one son, Renard DeShaun Beatty. Gwen confessed Christ at an early age and was baptized and saved at Greater Lily Missionary Baptist Church. She rounded out her childhood spiritual growth at Calvary Temple Baptist Church. Gwen's thirst for Christ's mission to be completed led her to Liberty Temple Full Gospel Church and World Outreach Ministries, where she became a member and an evangelist. Evangelist Gwen worked diligently in numerous ministries, including the Presbytery, TractDown/Missions/TNT, Social Services Ministry, Spiritual Sons and Daughters, the Prophetic Company, the Sunday School Department, and many more. Three family members preceded Gwenell in death; husband, Oscar Renard Beatty, father, Artis Wilson, Sr., and brother Dennis Wilson. Evangelist Gwenell leaves to cherish her memory her loving son, Renard; granddaughter, Kamari; loving mother, Lucille; two sisters, Karen and Latonya (Donald)); two brothers, Artis, Jr. and Darrol; niece, Kayla; nephew, Artis Wilson III; aunts, uncles, other nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, business partners, and her spiritual family at Liberty Temple Full Gospel Church where Chief Apostle Clifford E. Turner is founder and overseer and Apostle Sheranie Lathon is senior pastor.
