Johnnie Mae Lindsey daughter of Bessie Brown and Eddie Lindsey (stepfather Matthew Brown) was born March 1, 1944 in Jackson, Mississippi. She departed this life on April 29, 2010. Johnnie was a member of First Corinthians church under the Bishop Claude E. Tears. She attended Phillips High school in Chicago, IL and graduated from Metro Community College. Jonnie married Ralph Spencer Hall who preceded her in death (1975). Johnny then married John Edward Amos and moved to Omaha Nebraska. Johnnie worked at 1st Data resource for 10 years and Omaha Public School as a bus aid for 2 years. Her many friends and family will remember her as kind, very sweet, and a generous person. She leaved to mourn her two daughters Veda E. Hall (Tredell) of Chicago, Illinois, Chenelle M. Lambert son-in-law Carnell of Omaha, Nebraska, one sister Jinelle Brown of Chicago, Illinois, one brother Bernard (deceased) Four grandchildren Nyisha, Warwick, Keisha and Carmen, one great grand child Nathaniel, nephews, nieces, and a host of relatives and friends.
