Josie B. Langston "Mama Josie" was born September 20, 1920 in Mississippi to the late Joe Bradley and Ollie Jordan. She confessed her faith and love on Christ at an early age. She remained faithful to her belief throughout her life. She later moved to Mellwood, Arkansas where she joined Zion Travel M.B. Church and served many years, She then relocated to Elaine Arkansas and moved her membership to First Baptist M.B. Church under the leadership of the late F.A. Simpson and the late C.B. Bingham. She was a faithful member and served in the choir and also on the Mother's Board. In later years, because of failing health, she moved to Chicago, Illinois with her daughter Thelma Wynn and faithfully attended the Zion Grove Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend W. Charles morrow. She faithfully attended Pioneer Village Bible Class, which was taught by Reverend Evers. She also was a member of the Golden Agers of Pioneer Village Apartments. She was united in holy matrimony to the late Willie Langston Jr. (Earsline) and one daughter Thelma Wynn both of Chicago, IL; twenty-one grandchildren who she loved and cherished; sixty nine great grandchildren, twenty five great great grandchildren and a loving daughter-in-law Barbara Langston; one special daughter Mary Ward and a host of other relatives and friends.
