On a beautiful Indian Summer day, on November 3, 1944 Juanita Clayton was born in Chicago to Otis and Florence Clayton. Juanita was one of four daughters. Juanita attended Parker Grammar and High School. It was during her senior year that she met the love of her life, Louis Smith. They went to prom together and hoped to be together forever. Due to many circumstances and Louis going away to service, even though they had a daughter together, they did not marry. Love never dies. In 2007, almost 50 years later, Louis and Juanita rekindled their old love and they were married on Mother's Day in May 2008. In 1989 Juanita joined Liberty Temple Full Gospel Church.
Juanita fought the good fight of Faith and on July 25, 2012 she entered into eternity to receive to receive her eternal reward.
Juanita leaves to cherish her precious memory; husband, Louis; children Juanita (Dennis), Clarence (Patricia), Phillip (Vicky), Kirk (Patricia), Kirk (Patricia) and Jermaine; sisters Yvonne and Minnie (Larry),; fourteen grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and church family.
