With great sadness that we announce the passing of Rev. Lee A. Davis,
Senior Pastor of 2nd Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church, that he made his transition from Labor to Reward on Sunday, May 1, 2016, at his home with his family and love ones at his side.

He was an amazing pastor and friend and he will be incredibly missed by us all.

Our deepest condolences go out to all of his family and friends.
No one can prepare for a loss; it comes like a swift wind.
However, take comfort in knowing that he is now resting in the arms of our Lord.

Viewing and Visitation has been scheduled for Friday May 13, 2016 from 1:00p thru 8:00p; with a Musical Salute Celebration starting at 7:00p.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 10:30a, interment will take place immediately following all services at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Chicago, Illinois.

All visitation's and service's will be held at 2nd Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church - 7922 South Hoyne Street -Chicago, Illinois 60620

All floral arrangement should be forwarded to the church for delivery.
