Leola Priscilla Jones began gracing the stages of life on November 27, 1927 in the small southern town of Houma, Louisiana. Born to Cleveland and Priscilla Matthews.
Leola's vision manifested into existence when she left the southern sn of Houma, LA. and relocated to the Windy City following her first love, Scott Jones, Jr. They created three magnificent children, Harold, Ronald and Valarie. After the death of Scott she became a LPN at Evanston Hospital for twenty five years.
Leola journeyed into the light on May 30, 2012. Her joys in life were cooking, traveling, and gardening. Her passions in life were her children and grandchildren, Bryan, Jermaine, Ashley, La'Niece, Kiley, Sterling, Mark and Issac, her family in Houma, close Friend Geraldine Williams, her neighbors on the block of 79th & May, other family and friends.
