Internment will follow services at Lincoln Cemetery, 12300 S. Kedzie and repass will be held Beverly Woods Restaurant and Banquet Hall, 11532 S. Western Avenue, Chicago, Il.

Linda Mae Strickland was born on November 14th. in Chicago, Illinois, to henry and Evadia Strickland. Linda attended Simeon Vocational High School and upon graduation began working at the Main US Post Office, where she worked for four years. At the same time she began a long industrious career with CCH Incorporated, a Wolters Kluwer Company, which spanned many years.

Linda worked as the Senior Information Specialist in the Research and Library Services group. She was responsible for helping law firm and attorney customers secure hard-to-find documents.

Linda leaves to cherish her memory her twin sister India Strickland; her first cousins Darlene Anderson, Patricia Davis, Edgar "Butch" Anderson, and Lisa Walker,her godchildren Tracii Anderson, Jeffrey Anderson, Marcus Anderson, Gregory Walker, Kaylan Walker, and Jaylan McClure; and a host of friends, neighbors, and colleagues.
