Obituary

Lowell (Palmer) Cooper was born on September 10, 1924 to the late John and Annie Lue palmer in Hurtsboro in 1940. From that union, one child was born, Annie Lois. Lowell and her daughter relocated to Chicago, IL in 1942 to make their home. Lowell was a people person and she had charisma, which allowed her to make and keep friends. Her home was opened to anyone that came to town and you could always get a "down town meal"! Lowell was a hard worker, a devoted parent, and a grandmother, who meant every word she spoke. This memory of her, as well as her love, will always remain in our hearts forever. We praise and thank God for her life. Lowell was a member of Liberty Baptist Church of Chicago, IL for more than 50 years, where she was a member of the Olive Leaf Club. She worked many jobs but retired from Monsanto. She made her transition from this life on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn, IL. Lowell leaves us in God's care to cherish her memory, her caring daughter, Annie Lois Williams of Chicago, IL; one grandson Derrick (Lenora) Cooper of Chicago, IL; two granddaughters, Sandra Cooper of Chicago, IL and LaNita (Rickey) May of Merrillville, IN; and a host of other family members and friends.
