Mr. Mack D. Richard, Jr. was born March 25, 1937 in Alabama to the Late Mack and Mary Richard, Sr. and both preceded him in death.

He departed this life early Friday morning, April 5, 2013 at 1:20 a.m. He confessed Christ and joined the New Macedonia #1 M.B. Church under the leadership of the Late Revered Issiah Garner. Later he joined the New Beginning Christian Ministries M.B. Church under the leadership of Pastor Moses L. Brown, where he was a member of the Usher Board and served until his health began to fail.

He leaves to cherish his memory: a devoted wife of 33 years of marriage, Annie Richard; four sons, Mack(Shirley)Paige of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, McArthur (Loretta) Richard, Andrew Richard, and Darryl (Tokia) Richard; two daughters, Ruth Richard and Theresa Richard all of Miami, Florida; a mother-in -law, Mary F. Bryant; one stepdaughter, Sharee Bryant; a special great nephew, Edmund Bryant; four brother-in-laws, Woodrow Garner of Austin Texas, L.T. Jr, Leonard, and Jonathan; two sisters-in-laws, Julia "Cookie", and Elaine (Anthony) Jones; two goddaughters, Tressie Portis and Nakia Jones; 29 grandchildren; 22great-grandchildren; and a host of nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Mack will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 15, 2013, 10:00 a.m. Viewing and Funeral Services starting at 11:00 a.m. at Golden Gate Funeral Home, 2036 W. 79th Street, Chicago, Il 60620

Interment will take place immediately following the services at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Chicago, IL.
