Marvin P. Hall was born September 23rd, 1937, to the union of Polk Lucious Hall and Evelyn Beatrice Goodson Hall, in Chicago, Illinois. Marvin confessed his life to Christ at an early age. He attended Burke Elementary School and DuSable High School in Chicago, Illinois. Marvin joined the United States Army in 1954 and served for three years. He returned to school and received his GED in 1989. Working numerous jobs, Marvin retired in 1994 as an armed security guard. He was a very firm and wise man and started writing his thoughts about life and philosophy, however the Lord had other plans. Our Heavenly Father called Marvin home on February 10th, 2010. Two brothers and three sisters preceded him in death. Marvin leaves to cherish his memories, his children; Cameron, April, Jerome, Keefe, Angie, Michael, Angela, Avis, LaShawn and Andre Hall; his brother, Reverend Lucious Hall and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Marvin will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
