Mary Frances made her grand entrance into her life on 12 June 1926 in Atlanta, Ga. She was born to hazel & Earnest Brown who proceeded her in death. Mary was the oldest of 2 children. Her brother Thomas Lee Brown also proceeded her in death. She joined Christ during her teens at Travelers Rest Baptist Church in Atlanta, Ga. She moved to Chicago with her Mother during the 1940's.

After moving to Chicago, Mary held many jobs and but eventually became a faithful employer of Illinois Bell and retired after 29 years. She also became a devoted member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church #2 for 16 years.

Mary leaves to cherish her memory her loving and devoted husband; Rocky Gaiters of 18 years & his family, one son; Thomas Donald Freeman(Toyna), one Granddaughter; Toya Teresa Graham, one Grandson; Thomas Donald Freeman II, a nephew; Victor Brown(Victoria), one Great Grandson; James Killens IV, one sister; Hattie Jackson, devoted cousins; Jaunita Collymore, Gwen Roberts, Larry Yancy, Sharon Alexander, Joyce Little, Tina Williams, Shirley Travis, devoted Friends; Harriette Hall & Penny Kearney, and a host of loving family members & friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2008
Wake: 10:00 a.m.
Funeral: 11:00 a.m.
