Mrs. Mary Malone-Becton was born on February 12, 1918 in Mason, Tennessee. She was the daughter of the late Gus and Adell (Walls) Malone. Two sisters, Lela Malone and Alice (Malone) Pugh; and four brothers, Eddie Prentice, Richard and Charles Malone all preceded her in death. Mary confessed in Christ at an early age. She was a member of First Baptist Church- Chelsea under the leadership of Rev. Weston Ross whom preceded her in death of Memphis, Tennessee. Until her health started to fail, she then moved to Chicago, Illinois.

Mary was a hard worker and a sharp dresser. She loved her family very much. She retired from Southern Bell Phone Co., Memphis, Tennessee. All her nieces; nephews; cousins; friends; and one sister-n-law, Mrs. Elmira Malone will share her loving memories. P.S. Two nieces stood out for her, Cynthia Coleman and Gracie Klouste of Nashville, Tennessee. She loved sports, loved to dance and really loved her candy. Mary will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Memorial Services will be held on Friday, July 10, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Golden Gate Funeral Home-2036 W. 79th Street-Chicago, Ill
