Maynard Warren was born March 20, 1964 to Earline Thomas and Maynard who preceded him in death. Maynard was a wonderful son, brother, uncle and friend. Maynard was the youngest child of five children. On September 21, 2010 Maynard departed this life on earth to be born into eternity with his Lord and Savior. Maynard graduated from Raster Grammar School and later attended and graduated from Harper High School. Maynard enlisted in the Military in 1985 fir eight years. Maynard was sent to Desert Storm, where he achieved in good conduct medal 2D award, Service Ribbons, Marksman Award, M-16 Riffle Award, Army Lapel Medal, and National Defense Service Medal. Maynard was hardworking, caring, loving, inspiring and a wonderful man. Through all of this struggles and hard times, he still had a sense of humor and a wonderful blunt way of telling the truth. Maynard leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Earline Thomas; two brothers, Bruce B. Askew, Sr. (Angela) and Anthony Ghoston (Yolanda); two sisters, (Sandra Chapman who preceded him in death), (John Chapman), and Patricia Pruitt; one special brother, Percy Pruitt; five nieces, Ameenah, Serrater, Catherine, Caitlin and Cherish; nephews, Roosevelt, Bruce, Christopher, Paris, Brandon, and Jason; great nieces and nephews; aunts, Maureen Vaughn, Alma Burgress, Larchena Jordan and Vivian Stamps; one uncle, Alfonso Askew; other relatives and many friends.
