Reginald Lee was born on November 1, 1958 to the union of Carl Lee Sr. and Elder Louise Lee. He was the fourth of nine children. Reginald attended and graduated from Carver Area High School. Upon receiving his high school diploma, he became an employee of the Halsted Terrace Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Realizing that he had a passion for helping people, Reginald decided to make it his life's work. Reginald, later went on to receive his Bachelors degree in Humanities from Florida State University and upon graduation returned to Chicago and became employed by the Carlton at the Lake Nursing Center where he spent over 30 years perfecting his ministry gift of helps. Reginald was the Dietary Managing Supervisor and he made sure that everything was done decent and in order. He received numerous awards for his service and his staff respected him and enjoyed working with him. Reginald was raised in The Apostolic Assembly of the Lord Jesus Christ under the leadership of the late Bishop Clarence O. Lee where he was first baptized. He later became an ordained minister at the Omega Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Bishop Samuel McCarthy. Reginald was always about the business of praise, and although he was a member of the Body of Christ Deliverance Ministries, under the leadership of his sister and brother, Dr. Yvonne Lee-Wilson, Senior Pastor and Dr. Anthony Lee, Pastor, Reginald attended several churches during the course of his life. He attended Grace Temple under the leadership of Pastor Carter The Ambassadors for Christ under the Leadership of Elder Oliver as well as Glorious Temple under the leadership of Elder Easton and Elder Warren. Each of these ministries helped him to perfect his desire to Let Everything that Has Breath to Praise Ye the Lord! Reginald received his Doctorate in Humanities from the Hope Bible Institute in September 2009. Reginald made his transition into the kingdom on December 28, 2009 at the blessed age of 51. Reginald was preceded in death by his father Carl Lee Sr. on February 8, 2009. Reginald Lee leaves to cherish his memory his mom: Elder Louise Lee and eight brothers and sisters: Carl Lee Jr., Dr. Yvonne Lee-Wilson (Adelbert), Dr. Anthony Lee, Evangelist Geneva Davis (John), Ray Lee (Peggy), Dr. Kenneth Lee, Travis Lee and Evelene Cole (Johnnie) all of Chicago, Illinois. Aunts: Hazel Nungary, Ethel Johnson (Richard), Reverend Sr. Evy Johnson, Emily Smith (Abe) all of Chicago, Illinois, Marion Dorsey of Fairmont, WV, Reverend Barbara Dudley (Warren) of Newport News, VA, Betty Lee and Dorothy Edwards of Tuscaloosa, AL.Uncles: David Lee of Tuscaloosa, AL and Vernon Merchant of Fairmont, WV, Cousins: James Glass of Fairmont, WV and Christopher Dorsey of Seattle, WA. Reginald also leaves behind his nieces and nephews: Shantina, Taneshia, Candace, Alphonso, Terhan, Paul, Angelo, Nicholas, great-nieces and nephews: Phillip Jr., Jaleel, Evelene, Amber, Brittany, Brianna, Justin, Darnell and Kandell, an encouraging supervisor Mrs. Betts and a hosts of cousins, friends, and loves ones who will miss him tremendously.
