Obituary

Mother Elma Nuttall was born September 16, 1914 in Holly Grove Arkansas to Lucy Thornton. She came to Chicago, Il, in 1936 and later married Mr. James Otis Nuttall in 1941.

Mother Nuttal first Chicago pastor was Elder Peter Favors. Mother Nuttall was one of the founders of prayer Garden under the leadership of Bishop Cain Scott and J.O. Mason. She also served at Fountain of Life pastured by Elder James T. Waston faithful and devoout, and most currently with Outreach ministries formerly pastured by the late Elder Samuel Hawkins, followed by Elder Erthel Flemming and finally Elder Turner.

Mother Elma Nuttall devoted her whole life to serving God's People in the ministery as a missionary and Mother of the Church of God In Christ. She also presided and served by her husband's side in the American Legion for God and Country.

Mother Elma Nuttall leaves to cherish her memories: two sons, James Douglas and Robert Otis; one daughter Pamela Louise, 15 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She also leaves a host of other relatives and friends.

Home Going celebration Friday, February 18, 2011, 10:00 visitation, 11:00 Funeral Services, all at Greater Prayer Garden COGIC, 5801 South State Street, Chicago, Il 60620.

Interment immediately following the services at Oakwood Cemetery, Chicago, IL.
