Residee Sanders, was born as a twin to Resie Wimberly on August 9, 1928 inDumas, Arkansas, to the late Henry and Sylvania Sanders.

Residee worked for the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) for 20 years from which he retired. Residee was a hard working, dedicated husband, father and great grandfather.

Residee ws united in holy matrimony to Ora T. Adroe, in 1954; to this union six children was born, Lois Donnie, Judy, Karen, Everett and Sandra.

Residee was a faithful member of the Damen Park Congregation of the Jehovah Witnesses; he studied and witness to many.

Residee was proceded in dath by his nine siblings; Rebecca, Elie, Roosevelt, Rosiebell, Ernet, Ulas, Mattie, Clearo and Leo.

He leaves a wealth of cherished memories to his loving wife, Ora; six children, Lois, Donnie (Ann), Judy, Karen (Michael) Everett and Sandra (Bryant); fifteen grandchildren; thirty-eight great grandchildren; one sister Ernestine Abraham; two sister-in-laws, Ernestine Sanders (Clearo),Willie Mae (Elie) both of Crossett, Arkansas. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and close friends.

All services will be held at Golden Gate Funeral (Chapel), Wednesday, February 23, 2011. Visitation 10:00 a.m., Funeral Services at 11:00 a.m.

Internment will follow immediately at Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Lemont, Il.
