Richard Forrest Dix, Sr. also known as Red was born on August 17, 1969 in Chicago, Illinois to Dorothy and Forrest Dix, Sr. Richard was baptized at an early age. Richard attended and graduated from Ralph Bunche Elementary School and also attended Chicago Vocational High School.
Richard leaves to cherish fond memories; his loving mother, Dorothy Hogsett; his sisters Donna(Arthur), Yvette and Eunice (Richard; brother Forrest; children; Bonnolyn, Forrest III, Richard, Jr. and Treyvon; grandsons Richard Dix III and Bryden.
