Theresa Lyneice Williams was born to Agnes Gordon and Sammy Wright on May 4, 1948 in Coila, MS. She was preceded in death by: her aunt, Geneiva Johnson, who had a motherly influence in her life, her husband, Percy Lee Williams; her youngest daughter, Lateefah Imani Williams; and her brother, Harold Johnson. Theresa attended Hugh Manley Grammar School on the west side of Chicago. She graduated from Lucy Flowers High School on 1966. On March 11, 1968, she romantically married the love of her life, Percy Lee Williams. She worked for the United States Postal Service for five years and she was a Coach Bus Driver for Keeshin Bus Company for six years. Theresa was fun, loving, and caring. She was someone who was free to smile and laugh at all times. Her laughter and jokes were contagious. Whoever came in her midst sad, was sure to leave happy. As a child, she was very athletic. She received a championship trophy for swimming in high school. On September 18, 2007, Theresa accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior. Left to cherish her memory are: her two children, Percy Lee Williams, Jr. and Rashida; two brothers, James Clyborn and Vincent Williams; one sister, Beverly Gordon; four grandchildren, Lateefah, Krystina, Jameel and Tyrell; three uncles, James, Willis and Chester; five aunts, Sammie, Lou, Janet, Marva and Margaree; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and special friends, Jeanette Rose, Gladys Woods, Marsha Ford, and Lorraine Willis.
