Thomas Eric Coleman was born February 3, 1964 in Chicago, IL. to the union of Tom and Willie Mae Coleman. He was the forth of five children. Thomas accepted Christ at an early age at Hoser Temple Baptist Church. He attended Crane High School where he played sports and received player of the year in baseball. He also had a passion for cooking which led him to his career as a chef.
In 1999 he met and married the love of his life, Barbara Ann Howard. They cherished thirteen loving years of matrimony.
On April 18, 2012 the Lord called him home to receive his crown. He was surrounded by his loving and supportive family. He will be dearly missed.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents Tom and Willie Mae; sister, Carolyn, mother-in-law, Barbara Bearden; sister-in-law, Lillian Bearden; and brother-in-law, Ned Burks. Thomas leaves to cherish his loving memories; his wife, Barbara; daughter, Diamond; sons Damien and Devin, two brothers, Aaron (Marcey) Butler, Charles (Dawn)Coleman; sister Michelle (Paul) Koonce; brother-in-laws Raymond and Lamarr Bearden; sister-in-law, Sandra Burks, Raynetta (Jerome) Mathew, Catrina and Antyonette Bearden; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
