William (Jake) Reed was born July 27, 1935 to the union of Audrey & J.D. Reed which preceded him in death. To this union they had four children; Katherine, Audrey, William and John; three of which preceded him in death.
Jake accepted Christ at an early age. Jake met and married Vallie Jones in 1953. To this union they had two children; Valerie and Angie Reed. Later they divorced and Jake met Charlie Cahaday. To this union they had one child, Anthony Reed.

*Jake served in the military where he received an honorable discharge.

*Jake departed this life on December 20th at 11:30 p.m. He leaves to cherish his memories: one brother, John (Burie) Reed; three children, Valerie (Larry) Stafford, Angie Reed and Anthony (Angela) Reed; nine grandchildren, Latoya Stafford, Larry (Latika) Stafford, Victoria (Chris), Cyntrell Armstead, Tawanna, Anthony, Laquieta and Tequilla Reed, Anthony Jones; ten great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
