Willie B. Boykin was born February 20, 1936 in Memphis, Tennessee to devoted parents Eugene and Magnolia Boykin who preceded him in death. Willie was also preceded in death by his brother Eugene Boykin, Jr. and his sister Subena Day. While growing up in Memphis, Tennessee Willie (B.B.) attended the Florida Street School and one of his first jobs was at the famed Sheraan-Peabody Hotel. After relocating to Chicago, Willie worked at the Zenith Corporation and later opened and operated his own restaurant business. Willie lived life boldly and loved his family passionately. With a hope places in his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Willie leaves to mourn his passing, a devoted wife Gloria Boykin, one son Keith A. Johnson and three daughters Rochelle (devoted son-in-law Rotimi) Omosheyin, Varana (Seymour) Evans, Tenisha Hardin all of Chicago, IKL. Four Brothers, James (Carol) Boykin, Louis Boykin, Norman (Earline) Boykin, Robert (Yvonne) Boykin. Two sisters Gladys (Freeman) McChristen and Katie (Haywood) Terell all of Memphis, TN. Four grandchildren Latanya, demetris, Ronnie, and Rotimi. Four great grandchildren, Aja,Marlon,Yenaiah, and Sianna. And a host of family and friends.
