Yolanda Dean Ward was born May 29, 1965 in Chicago, Illinois to the blessed parent of Mary Ann Henderson. She was later adopted by Ben & Diane Ward. She was the oldest of two biological children and three adopted children. Her mother and adopted father preceded her in death. Yolanda was married to Jackie McGregory and to their union six children were born and two children were adopted. Yolanda attended Homewood Flossmoor High School, in Homewood, Illinois, Northwestern School of Inner City Studies, (Theater), Illinois School of Commerce (Childhood Education). She went back to get her Associated in Medical Billing and Computer Information Systems. She also attended Moody Bible Institute to become more excellent in the word of God. Yolanda confessed hope in Christ at the age of 27. She attended Prayer Tower COGIC in Chicago; harvest Time COGIC, New Hope Outreach COGIC, Precious Stone Bible Church and the Move of God COGIC. She loved all the churches she attended. Yolanda displayed an everlasting love for her family. She was a childcare provider, a caregiver for the elderly and worked with the Chicago Housing Summer Food Program. She sacrificed to help those who were in need and she taught people the right path to choose. She loved the lord and put him first in everything she did. Yolanda completed her final troublesome days and was called home on Monday, November 8, 2010. Yolanda leaves to cherish her memories her children Dominic, Dawn, Dashawn, Dionne, David, and Danielle two adopted children Alvin and Alex and adoptive mother Diane Ward; one brother Timothy (San Diego, CA) and one adopted brother Lavell, two adopted sisters Valerie and Evette, children she took care of Louis and Faith; a step daughter Vickie, a special cousin Donald and a host of other relatives and friends.
